    The build experience
Unique building techniques and design choices
The minifigures, including The Joker and Vicki Vale
    Display value and scale

    Ep. 169 - A LEGO Rumors & Leaks Extravanganza - 4/6/26 - News & Rumors

    06/04/2026 | 26 mins.
The rumor mill is working overtime this week, and there is a lot to talk about in the LEGO world.

We start with official images from the upcoming Toy Story wave arriving May 1st. From a playful Slinky Dog display build to a brand-new Lotso figure and a fun Alien rocket ride inspired by Pizza Planet, Pixar fans have some interesting sets on the way.

But that’s just the beginning. After the official reveals, we dive headfirst into the rumor zone where things get really interesting.

There’s a surprising update surrounding the LEGO Ideas Godzilla project that could show up in a very unusual way later this year. Rumors are also circulating about a brand new line of buildable, up-scaled minifig characters that could pull from multiple themes.

Star Wars fans may have something unexpected on the horizon tied to The Mandalorian, while Ninjago builders could be getting a massive mech arriving later this summer.

And then there’s one of the most talked-about possibilities right now: a large wave of sets based on a franchise that many fans have been hoping LEGO would tackle for years. If the rumors are accurate, this lineup could include everything from small play sets to massive display builds packed with minifigures.

There are even whispers about a surprising addition to the Fortnite lineup that might be unlike anything we’ve seen from that theme before.

As always, these are rumors and leaks, so take everything with a grain of salt. But if even a few of these turn out to be true, the rest of 2026 could be a very exciting year for LEGO fans.

Ep. 168 - Is This Still a Fairground Classic: The LEGO Ferris Wheel Review

    01/04/2026 | 28 mins.
Ferris wheels are making a comeback in the LEGO world, and this episode takes a deep dive into one of the most beloved amusement park sets ever released.

With a brand-new Friends theme Ferris wheel arriving in the LEGO lineup this summer and rumors of another classic fairground attraction returning in 2026, it felt like the perfect time to revisit one of the most iconic sets from the Creator Expert fairground collection.

In this review, we take a close look at the 2015 Ferris Wheel set designed by Jamie Berard. From its massive footprint and unique minifigure lineup to the surprisingly simple build structure behind the scenes, we break down what makes this set so memorable more than a decade after its release.

We also talk about where this build fits within the larger fairground series, how it compares to the other rides in the lineup, and whether the secondary market price still makes sense today for collectors.

Is this classic amusement park centerpiece still worth adding to your collection, or has time and newer sets changed the equation? Watch the full review to see how it holds up today.
