Mark was dead. EMS had shocked him three times with no results. 10 Minutes had gone by. One of the men said let's try one more time.

Three years ago, on a road in Billings, Montana, Mark was driving with his wife Carol when his heart suddenly stopped. For ten minutes, there was no pulse. No oxygen. Carol shut off the car, called 911, and followed the dispatcher's instructions until EMS arrived. Three shocks. No response. They were ready to stop.

As we enter Lent and hear, "Remember you are dust…, and to dust you will return" why is the dust sometimes put on pause? And what does that say about God's timing--and ours?

Josh Jung returns to Touched by Heaven since first guesting back on Episode 205, four years ago. Back then, he shared how, as an atheist, he openly invited anything that might be "out there" to reveal itself. God, angels, demons, even aliens. It seemed to Josh that they were all responding.

"I was in the car with my wife and one year-old listening to the radio. They announced that united flight 232 had crashed. I was supposed to be on that plane."

In 1989, Jerry was on the phone with a travel agent, ready to book his seat on United Airlines Flight 232 from Denver to Chicago.
But something strange happened. His gut clenched. He felt sick. Anxious. When an earlier flight was mentioned, his body relaxed. Calm. Peace.
He didn't know why, but he listened. Later that day, from a car in New York with his wife and one-year-old child, he heard the news. Flight 232 had crashed. One hundred twelve people died. Jerry was would have been on that plane.

Years later, he finds Touched by Heaven, and his story leads to a conversation with Trapper's podcast friend, Jim Harold. The topic is premonitions, instincts, and the quiet ways God sometimes intervenes--whether we believe in Him yet or not.

In the Bible, the number forty shows up when something is being tested, purified, or prepared. Forty days. Forty years. It is never random. It is the stretch between what God promises and what finally comes to life.

When the music that bubbles up in my head began to take me back to a story from 40 weeks ago, I pushed back. Why would I do that? Wrong question. Just trust. OK.

This episode returns to the conversion story of Michael Campanelli, a man who went to Medjugorje not even sure he believed in God. What happened there was not flashy or emotional hype. It was uncomfortable. A call to confession. A confrontation with long buried sin. A moment of grace that broke through his resistance and changed the direction of his life.

That moment became a turning point. Skepticism gave way to surrender. Confession led to healing. And eventually, Michael found himself helping guide others on pilgrimages through his Padre Pio ministry.

This is not a rerun. It is a return. Forty weeks later, what was planted has been tested long enough to begin bearing fruit.
