165. Why Can I Not See God Move in My Life?

Chat with me at UncommonTEEN.com!Ladies, we have a big God and He wants to do big things in your life!Isaiah 26:3 says that God will keep us in perfect peace when we keep our minds focused on Him because we trust in Him.Ā You may be walking through a challenging time right now. You may be walking through a hard diagnosis right now. You may be walking through a friendship that failed. No matter what you are going through, there is hope. Keep your eyes on God and watch what He does for you!Ā It only took a small amount of faith to change the whole trajectory of your life when you gave your life to Jesus. With a small amount of faith, the biggest miracle was performed. You went from darkness to light. From being a slave to sin to being a daughter of the most High King. You were saved from hell and now get to live forever with Jesus.Ā If, with just a little bit of faith, God was able to perform the greatest miracle ever, why does it seem like we need to have a huge amount of faith to receive other miracles, such as healing or even making great friends?Ā Maybe you have heard this saying before, or maybe you have said it yourselfā¦I sure hope not! But if you have, please know that it is not in any way encouraging or Biblical! But the saying is, āWell, you didnāt pray hard enough.ā Or āI guess you didnāt have enough faith.āThe problem isnāt the amount of faith that we have. Jesus even told us that if we had faith the size of a mustard seed, we could move mountains. The problem is that we need to learn how to release the faith that we do have.Ā In Matthew 17:14-21, the disciples tried to cast demons out of a boy like they had done many times before, but this time, they couldnāt understand why they werenāt able to do it. In verse 20, Jesus doesnāt tell them that they needed more faith. He actually says to them that it was because of their unbelief.Ā So, the problem wasnāt more faith, it was that they needed to kick doubt out.
