In this episode of In Deep, Laura & Flick (aka Lorita & Freddi) take you inside the emotional highs and lows of 2024 Eddie Aikau Big Wave invitational Event— a defining moment in our big wave surfing careers. Being invited to this prestigious event, the ultimate honor in surfing, was a dream we’ve worked our entire lives to achieve. We break down every moment, from the intense lead-up to December 22nd to the adrenaline-filled day itself, and share the raw details of Laura’s freak medical emergency.

In Episode 4 of In Deep, Flick and Laura dive into stories from Hawaii both in the present and in the past! The girls are in Hawaii for The Eddie Ceremony and fill you in on a few mishaps along the way as well as revisiting old memories from the North Shore and their worst wipeouts. As you will hear at the beginning of the episode, the girls have actually rushed back to Hawaii to compete in the 2024 Eddie Aikau Invitational and what better timing to launch this ep!
