  • The Sacred Dance of Plant Medicine and Meditation | David Crow L.Ac.
The profound intersection of plant medicine and meditation offers a pathway to healing that goes far beyond symptom relief. David Crow, a pioneering clinical herbalist and acupuncturist, shares his extraordinary 40-year journey studying with Tibetan doctors in the Himalayas, nine different Ayurvedic practitioners, and various healing traditions that recognize the inseparability of medicine and spirituality. At the heart of this conversation lies a revolutionary insight: the way we take herbs matters as much as which herbs we take. When we approach plant medicine with mindful awareness, paying close attention to the sensations they create in our bodies, we dramatically amplify their healing effects. "Where the mind flows, the qi flows," David explains, describing how focused attention directs healing energy precisely where we need it. This practice creates a beautiful synergy - herbs support meditation, and meditation potentiates herbs.David challenges our modern supplement culture with its "more is better" mentality. Instead, he advocates for "more mindfulness, not more herbs," revealing how microdosing with complete presence produces more powerful effects than handfuls of supplements taken mindlessly. This approach makes profound healing accessible to everyone - you don't need exotic substances or expensive formulations, just sincere attention to whatever herb you're already taking. The conversation also explores the traditional context of plant medicines, especially powerful entheogens like ayahuasca. David discusses the importance of proper containers - the land, culture, ceremony, and tradition that safely hold these experiences - and how their absence in modern settings can lead to psychological harm rather than healing.Whether you're new to herbal medicine or a seasoned practitioner, this episode invites you to slow down and experience the union of plant consciousness with human awareness. In this mindful exchange, we reconnect with the original purpose of healing traditions: not just relief from symptoms, but support for our journey toward greater awareness, integration, and ultimately, spiritual transformation. Discover how a simple cup of tea, approached with reverence, can become a doorway to profound healing and connection.Connect with David at https://www.crowconsultations.com/ Let's connect on social media! • Mental Fitness: The New Performance Enhancer | Aaron Machbitz
What if we approached our mental health with the same intentionality as our physical fitness? Aaron Machbitz, Emotional Projector & host of the "Something for Everybody" podcast, joins us for a profound conversation about transforming our approach to emotional wellbeing and relationships.Aaron shares his powerful journey through grief after losing his sister to suicide, which catalyzed his passion for mental health advocacy. He draws an important distinction between mental health and mental fitness—reframing emotional wellbeing as something we actively cultivate rather than merely maintain. "Let's make mental health sexy again," Aaron suggests, advocating for daily "emotional pushups" that build resilience before we face life's inevitable challenges. The conversation delves into practical habit-building strategies that anyone can implement. Aaron recommends making habits "too small to fail" by starting with minimal commitments that gradually expand over time. His "start, stop, continue" method offers a balanced approach to personal growth: identify one behavior to eliminate, one to begin, and one to celebrate continuing. This framework acknowledges both our areas for improvement and our current successes.Perhaps most compelling is Aaron's candid sharing about his relationship journey. After years of casual dating, he made a radical decision to become celibate until finding someone he wanted to marry. This intentional period of self-development created space for genuine connection when he met his now-wife. Whether you're working on personal growth, building resilience, or strengthening relationships, this episode offers valuable insights for your journey. As Aaron powerfully reminds us: "The world needs all your faults and mistakes and everything you have to offer, because there'll never be another you."Connect with Aaron on IG @ aaronmachbitz  and check out his podcast, Something for Everybody  Let's connect on social media! • From Inner Mission to Outer Expression: Image Alchemy with Paul Fishman
Paul Fishman isn't your typical stylist. As an "image alchemist" & 2/4 Sacral MG, he's revolutionizing the relationship between personal style and self-expression through a holistic approach that begins from within. In this conversation, Paul reveals the three pillars of his Image Alchemy practice—style, systems, and strategy—that help entrepreneurs & public-facing individuals align their inner mission with their external presentation. What makes Paul's approach unique is his integration of Human Design principles into the styling process. He explains how understanding your authority type influences decision-making around purchases and how different energy types approach their wardrobes differently. For manifesting generators who thrive on change, flexibility might be key, while generators might find joy in signature pieces that consistently bring satisfaction. The conversation reaches its most transformative point when Paul introduces the concept of being "the solution" for your clients. By asking yourself how that solution shows up and speaks, you shift focus from personal identity to the value you provide. Connect with Paul @paulxluxury on IG  Let's connect on social media! • Reflections on 31 | Birthday Solo Pod
Turning 31 marks a profound homecoming to myself that I never expected. Last August, I recorded my 30th birthday episode while processing grief over unrealized expectations. Now, just one year later, everything has shifted internally, though outwardly my life might look similar. What remains beautifully constant are my people—the friends and family who have been my true home when physical spaces felt unstable. They've shown me what unconditional love looks like, celebrating me in my highest moments and supporting me through my darkest times. Their acceptance has taught me to accept myself. As I've grown more comfortable in my own skin, I've stopped collecting opinions from people who don't matter and stopped shape-shifting for rooms that were too small anyway. My birthday wish for you is simple yet profound: may you find people who love you so deeply that it teaches you to love yourself just as powerfully. And if you're currently feeling untethered, remember that not everything lasts forever. You'll find your way home too. The beauty of this journey is watching everything shift, including ourselves, until one day we realize we're exactly where we need to be. Let's connect on social media!
