What does a surrendered life to Jesus actually look like?

In The Surrendered Disciple, we are reminded that we never graduate from surrender. Every season invites us to place our lives back into God’s hands, recognise His voice, cultivate a hunger for His presence, allow Him to shape us and respond when He calls.

A surrendered disciple doesn’t need to have everything figured out—they simply stay close enough to hear God and willing enough to say, “Here I am.”

What does obedience to God look like when we’re led by the Holy Spirit?

Continuing our Spirit Led Life series, this message explores how the inward work of the Holy Spirit is meant to produce an outward life of obedience. We aren’t saved by our works, but salvation transforms us and prepares us for the good works God has called us to.

Rather than trying to earn God’s approval through performance, ritual or our own strength, we are invited to know His voice, stay close to Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to work through us—producing lives marked by love, generosity, kindness, self-control and obedience.

What does it actually mean to walk by the Spirit? Continuing our Spirit Led Life series, this message explores Galatians 5 and the invitation to stay in step with the Holy Spirit. The freedom we receive in Christ isn’t an invitation to live however we want, but freedom to love, serve and become more like Jesus. As we remain connected to God and learn to recognise the Spirit’s leading, His fruit begins to grow in our lives. Transformation may not happen overnight, but as we keep sowing into the Spirit, keep showing up and stay connected to Him, He continues His work in us.

In We Become What We Behold, we explore the lifelong work of sanctification, the Holy Spirit transforming us from the inside out to increasingly resemble Jesus. This isn’t a process reserved for a spiritual elite, nor is it simply about better behaviour. God is committed to walking with us, forming us through relationship, community and daily dependence on His Spirit.

As we behold Christ, we are transformed from one degree of glory to another, and sent to reflect Him to our families, workplaces, communities and world.

How do we actually become more like Jesus?

Continuing our Spirit Led Life series, this message explores the inward work of the Holy Spirit. Through 2 Corinthians 3, we see that transformation isn’t about trying harder, comparing ourselves to others or getting every behaviour right—it comes as the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to us and changes us from the inside out.

As we behold Jesus and yield to the Spirit, we are continually transformed into His likeness, from one degree of glory to another.
