With the LCQ right around the corner, the Muses are deep in playtesting, deck decisions, and maybe just a little bit of competitive spiraling. Brittany, Nikki, Lesley, and special guest Chris talk about preparing for a wide-open meta before diving into the HUGE wave of Lorcana news revealed at D23.
From Hyperia City, Figment, collector boosters, and the Season of Villainy to expanded Disney Lorcana Challenges, youth divisions, new qualification paths, and some dangerously good-looking promos, there is a lot to be excited about…and apparently a lot of money to spend.

The Lorcana meta is changing fast, and Lesley, Nikki, and Brittany are feeling the pressure. Brittany and Lesley are stressing to choose their decks before the upcoming LCQ and Nikki is practicing droid on droid mirrors. They discuss Amber Emerald’s Gen Con success, frustrating mirror matches, sealed event struggles, and how to get more value from intentional playtesting.

 The new Lorcana set is here, the meta is wide open, and the Muses are officially in LCQ preparation mode! Brittany, Nikki, and Lesley break down their latest playtesting experiences, from Boosties and item-heavy strategies to Amethyst tempo, pandas, evasives, and the ever-present Gaston. They also discuss expensive cards, shiny collectibles, playing Lorcana on a budget, and why a fun deck is not always the right tournament deck.

Attack of the Vine opening weekend was a little rootin’, a lot tootin’, and completely chaotic. Brittany recaps her last-minute trip to Downtown Disney, which included driving through the night, sleeping for an hour and a half, and standing in line for nearly ten hours just to get Lorcana product.
We also talk about our pre-release weekends, the unbelievable Iconic and Enchanted pulls happening around us, the cards that already feel broken in sealed, and the decks we’re testing in this wide-open post-rotation meta.
