Twin Peaks: The Return, Part 3: "Call for Help"

    08/06/2026 | 2h 9 mins.
Folks, these recaps aren’t getting any easier. So Coop was falling in space, right? He lands on a brutalist structure where a lady with no eyes who moves like your graphics card is dying tells him to be really quiet because something really scary is banging on the door. They go upstairs where they’re now on the roof of a box floating in space. Then something crazy happens which I have no idea how anyone could have seen coming: Coop sees MAJOR GARLAND BRIGGS as a FLOATING HEAD IN SPACE???? Whaaaaat?!?!
He goes back inside where a lady who looks a lot like Ronnette Pulaski tells him to go through a giant electrical outlet. He does, and it seems like his soul is supposed to go into Mr C, who’s da king of da highway, but instead it gets redirected into….Dougie, A third copy of Dale/Mr C, who MIKE tells us was “manufactured” for this purpose.
As Dougie, Dale is completely stunned and seems to remember nothing. He almost gets assassinated but escapes by dropping his keys. Despite several “will this get his memory back????” fakeouts, he spends the rest of the episode wandering a place as twisted and labyrinthine as the black lodge itself: a casino.
Meanwhile: Gordon Cole, Albert, and our new, cuntiest FBI Agent Tammy Preston learn Something about Coop! And in Twin Peaks, Hawk, Andy, and Lucy debate whether the missing thing the log lady told them about is a chocolate bunny, and Jacoby spray-paints his shovels gold.

Twin Peaks: The Return, Part 2: "The Stars Turn and a Time Presents Itself"

    25/05/2026 | 2h 32 mins.
Dale is back for real! It's weird. Anyway! Bill Hastings says he wasn't at Ruth Davenport's apartment but he did have a dream that he was, which is weird. His wife is really happy he's in jail, but then she gets killed by Mr C. Speaking of Mr C, he gets busy this episode: he tells us he doesn't Need, he Wants, and then he starts killing his underlings, who were trying to take him out on behalf of... Philip Jeffries? He then calls Philip Jeffries using his FBI suitcase phone, but it is actually someone else? In all this we learn these things about him:
He's supposed to be pulled back into the black lodge, but has a plan
He's looking for something represented by an ace of spades with a weird ant head shape drawn on it?
He met with Garland Briggs recently
Meanwhile: a guy named Duncan Todd, played by the guy who had the Mulholland Drive Winkies dream, gives someone a job and is scared of his evil boss. Hawk gets a call from the Log Lady as he's scoping out Glastonbury Grove, where red curtains appear. Sarah Palmer has a new HDTV, which isn't ominous at all! Shelley's worried her daughter is dating the wrong guy. And James? James is still cool. James was always cool.

Twin Peaks: The Return, Part 1: "My Log Has a Message for You"

    11/05/2026 | 2h 26 mins.
Oh boy! It’s been 25 years! Twin Peaks is back! I can’t WAIT to find out what is going on with my favorite boy Dale Cooper! Oh boy he’s on screen talking to the giant! Oh, but – what’s that? He is “far away”? Oh! Okay! See you!
Anyway! A guy called Sam is being paid to watch a mysterious glass box, and thinks it’s probably fine if him and his girlfriend Tracey have sex on the job – OH NO NO IT’S NOT THEY’RE GETTING KILLED BY A GHASTLY FIGURE! EEK!
Oh my god it’s EVIL DALE COOPER, or as people seem to call him, Mr. C! What dastardly plans has HE been getting up to?? We don’t know yet. He drives a car epic style, administers violence, and picks up two henchpeople.
Anyway! A lady called Ruth Davenport is found dead in Buckhorn, South Dakota. Or rather, her head is found, laid on top of a Mysterious Unknown Body. Fingerprints of the local principal, Bill Hastings, played by the illustrious Matthew Lillard, are found all over the apartment, so Bill is brought in for questioning and seems really scared and confused about it all.
Now you might be asking : hey what about “Twin Peaks”? Well have no fear: Dr Jacoby gets a bunch of shovels! Jerry Horne has a Legal Weed business and is like come on Ben Horne you’re fuckin your secretary right??? And Ben is like No, I Respect Women Now. Lucy tells an insurance guy there are TWO Sheriff Trumans! Also she has a kid with Andy! And Hawk gets a Mysterious Log Message from the log lady that just might kick off another round of Supernatural Investigation !!!!!!

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (Pt. 2)

    30/04/2026 | 2h 22 mins.
    And now…. the thrilling conclusion!
Laura puts the ominous painting up, and it gives her a Black Lodge Dream. We learn the following:
the little man is The Arm, and he sounds like this
he and the Tremonds/Chalfonts want her to take that green ring, but Dale says NOT to.
dead Annie appears in her bed and tells her: “I've been with Dale and Laura. the good Dale is in the lodge and he can't leave. write it in your diary.”
    It's terrifying!
The next evening, Laura is going out tricking/partying with Jacques Renault, and Donna insists on coming with. (also on the way the log lady gives her a heartbreaking log lady intro prophecy.) Laura is like fine Donna come if you want, you can't handle this, fuck you, but then when seeing Donna get date raped, freaks out and takes her home. there's a lot more to the scene but we'll get to it.
Leland picks Laura up from Donna's, and while they're driving, MIKE shows up and screams at Leland about creamed corn and “the thread will be torn”. Leland remembers killing Teresa banks after setting up a threesome with her and then realizing it was with Laura.
That night, Laura goes to buy cocaine with Bobby, which turns out to be from the shitty deer meadow deputy which I only realized now on like my 4th viewing, and Bobby kills him.

Now things get really grim. Leland/BOB drugs Sarah and assaults Laura, during which she finally sees that BOB is truly Leland. the angel in Laura's painting disappears. Laura sobs all day in school and no one cares. and then it's the beginning of the end we know: she meets with James, tells him his Laura went away, that he doesn't know her, that she loves him, then runs off to meet with ronette, Leo, and Jacques. Leo and Jacques rape ronnette and Laura, then Leland shows up, knocks out Jacques, and Leo flees.
Leland takes the girls to the train car, followed by MIKE. Bob tells Laura he wants to possess her. Ronette is saved by a guardian angel. MIKE tosses The Ring into the train car, then leaves. Laura puts the ring on, which seems to either force BOB to kill her or prevent him from possessing her. either way, he kills her.
After dumping her body, wrapped in plastic, BOB goes to the black lodge via Glastonbury Grove. MIKE and the arm demand all their “garmonbozia (pain and sorrow)”, which BOB manifests as blood from a hovering puppet Leland, which seems to turn into creamed corn. Laura's body is found and a monkey whispers “Judy”.
In a final scene that makes me cry every time, Laura is now in the Lodge with Dale, sobbing, and then her angel appears. crying, smiling, laughing, and crying some more, she finds a glimpse of sublime beauty in the heart of unimaginable suffering.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (Pt. 1)

    13/04/2026 | 2h 31 mins.
Hi everyone! Time to cry watching the best movie ever made!
So first things first, we spend the first half hour following FBI agent CHET DESMOND as he investigates the Teresa Banks in Deer Meadow murder a year before Laura Palmer dies. He gets intro’d to the case by Gordon Cole via Dancing Clue Girl, and then the case swiftly goes nowhere as he is rebuffed by every resident of Deer Meadow, which seems to be like an anti-Twin Peaks. Then, when reaching for Teresa's special green ring under a trailer, he disappears!!!
Around the same time, at the FBI field office in Philadelphia, Dale Cooper is looking at himself in the security camera because of an unsettling dream he had, when suddenly, “the long lost Phillip Jeffries” appears, played by David Bowie. He says:
I'm not gonna talk about Judy.
Now who do you think that is there?! (pointing to dale)
I've been to one of their meetings. It was above a convenience store.
    We live inside a dream!
and then disappears – or was never there? The scene is overlaid with a nightmarish sequence of “Lodge Entities”, seemingly above said convenience store, where the following things happen:
Ms Tremond and her grandson are there. the grandson says “fell a victim” pointing at BOB.
The Arm says “this is a formica table. green is its color” and “with this ring i thee wed”
A guy in a weird mask jumps and says “electricity”
Afterwards, Dale goes to the trailer park where “let's rock!” has been written on Desmond's car. He tells Albert that he's sure the killer will strike again, but knows not where or when.

Heartbreaking smash cut to: TWIN PEAKS, ONE YEAR LATER. The intro song plays as Laura walks to school with Donna, does cocaine, and meets Bobby and James. She gives a heartbreaking speech to Donna about falling in space forever and the angels are all gone. She then finds pages ripped out from her secret diary, freaks out and gives the rest to Harold, who doesn't believe her about BOB and all that. She says BOB wants to be her and she has a flash of a scary possessed makeup face.
While Laura is preparing to do meals on wheels, Ms Tremond (or Chalfont) and her grandson give her an ominous painting and a message that “the man behind the mask” is looking for her secret diary. She runs home in a panic, finds BOB in her room who snarls at her, then runs out in a panic. When she sees Leland emerge from the house, she realizes he might be BOB.
That evening, Leland seems to punish Laura for this by tormenting her at dinner about being filthy and having to wash her hands.

PART TWO of our Fire Walk With Me coverage will be out NEXT WEEK!
