Our story is an old Yiddish tale about a tailor who finds that, with a little ingenuity and hard work, he can make something new from something old. We got lots of inspiration from Helen East's version of this tale. You can find her version in an excellent book called The Singing Story Cloth!

Hey storylovers! It's time to rejoin Beowulf in the concluding part of our epic tale. Is there another creature out there in the dark marshland?
This story is said to be the greatest (and possibly oldest) epic poem written down in the English language - though it's an English we wouldn't recognise today. The Beowulf manuscript is kept at the British Library and you can find out more about it HERE.
WARNING - The monsters in the story are quite scary and the story is a bit creepy and gory. So feel free to check out another episode if you want to.
