What is ultimately best for us, is not always what seems immediately good to us. Generation after generation, for over 700 years, the people of God waited for Micah's words to be fulfilled. Waiting is hard. But as we wait and endure suffering, having a promise becomes a lifeline to hold onto and a reminder that God has not forgotten his people, and is working toward our good.
