Introducing a new Podcast - What Happened To ... Zac Barnes (2019)

    01/06/2026 | 22 mins.
Here's Episode 1 of our new podcast - What happened To...
In 2019, we told the story of Zac Barnes an 18-year-old from the Hunter Valley who vanished in November 2016 after getting out of a friend’s car on the way to Thornton train station and running into nearby bushland.
At the time, Zac’s family were still searching for answers. His body had never been found. The questions around what happened that day and what may have happened afterwards remained unresolved.
Now, almost a decade after Zac disappeared, a NSW coronial inquest has found that Zac is most likely deceased and that he died in suspicious circumstances. The coroner was unable to determine the exact manner, cause, or place of his death, but recommended the NSW unsolved homicide team take over the investigation.
This new release revisits the story we first told in What Happened to Zac?, with the benefit of the coroner’s findings and the painful clarity they bring. It is a story about a young man who never came home, a family who refused to stop fighting for him, and a case that still demands answers.
Zac’s mum said he “deserves justice and to be found” and that his family deserves answers.
What Happened to Zac? is the story of a disappearance, a delayed search, years of uncertainty, and a family’s ongoing fight to find out what really happened to Zac Barnes.

    Introducing Badge Of Betrayal

    18/11/2025 | 6 mins.
He was a senior cop. A coach. A mentor. A familiar face in Tasmania. But when officers arrived at Paul Reynolds’ door with a search warrant, the truth began to crack open exposing decades of grooming, suspicion, and warnings buried deep inside the system meant to stop him.
Badge of Betrayal peels back the layers of a case Tasmania Police quietly walked away from after Reynolds’ sudden death. What emerges is a disturbing pattern: young boys targeted through sport, car meets, and friendship; colleagues who raised concerns and were shut down; and a network of silence that stretched far beyond one man.
A current serving high ranking police officer comes forward to tell us everything he knows, a friend who was groomed by Reynolds talks, we speak with victim survivors, whistleblowers and uncover emails and files notes that leave breadcrumbs that ask more questions.
From the creators of Our Little Edey, this is a forensic investigation into one of Tasmania’s most unsettling police scandals and the uncomfortable question at its core:
If the badge is supposed to protect us… what happens when it protects the predator instead

    Introducing The Sydney Siege

    10/12/2024 | 6 mins.

In this re-released series, explore the chilling events of that day and hear how Louisa has rebuilt her life a decade on.
