Truth is coherent, unified, and internally consistent. False worldviews, by contrast, eventually collapse under the weight of their own contradictions. We see signs of this in our culture today. For example, the WNBA continues to wrestle with fundamental questions of identity and definition. At the same time, we are witnessing a renewed interest in Marxist and socialist visions of a utopian social order. Yet when the doctrine of human sinfulness is rejected, people are tempted to believe that flawed human beings can somehow construct a perfect society. History repeatedly demonstrates the opposite. The result is often an ever-expanding state, increased government control, and, ultimately, the erosion of human freedom.
