Explore Mexican Magic,Curanderismo and Brujeria with Wendy Mata!  Wendy is the founder of Bruja Power Botanica and is a Bruja Curandera by lineage. She is initiated in Shamanism in Yucatán, trained in Curanderismo and Brujería through her family line, and is a certified Reiki Master and Advanced Pranic Healer. Wendy blends ancestral wisdom with global experience.Before stepping fully into her spiritual path; Wendy led global product launches in cybersecurity and digital forensics. She is the Author of: “Bruja Curandera - Spells, Rituals & Ancestor Work from a Mexican Healer & Witch” by Llewellyn Worldwide. An avid traveler, Wendy shares the ancient wisdom and magic of Mexico to reclaim one’s own inner power through in person and online events. 
Wendy’s journey began while growing up in a family that practiced Brujeria Curanderismo in Mexico. A few members of her family were healers and she observed how people would come to some of her family for spiritual cleansing (Limpias), healing, soul retrieval and guidance. Her father got into metaphysics and brought Wendy to his classes where she learned about the power of the mind to manifest possibilities.
 We jump into what Brujeria, (Mexican Folk Magic) and how it was always around but shifted through the colonization from the Spanish and influenced by other traditions such as African, Hindu and Jewish. Curanerdismo was much more indigenous and connected to the plants of Mexico and has stayed much more traditional. Wendy is both a Witch (Bruja) and a Healer (Curandera). The basis of Curanderismo is that everything is energy and our bodies, mind and spirit reflect the energies of our environment. If there is an imbalance in any of these; Curanderismo can help bring it back to balance and cleanse/release calcifications, energetic imprints, generational trauma, and unwanted energies in us using plants, stones/crystals, smoke, fire, water, incantations, etc. to reset and reprogram a person’s energetic body to create higher vibrations. Her favorite element to work with in ritual/healing ceremonies is fire.
We explore ancestors which can mean many things to us, not always blood lineage and all that comes with them(the good, the bad & the ugly). They can be ancestors of the heart, such as teachers/mentors, adopted parents, someone who has had an impact on your life. And we also have the ancestors of the land and cultural ancestors. Wendy discusses how there is so much healing and transformation when we recognize that we are not alone. We are the product of decisions of  thousands of people that came before us. Wendy mentions that her personal stories in her book came to her from her ancestors  in the oral tradition of a story with some information that can be a living teaching.
Wendy's new book is a beautiful tribute to her Mexican ancestry and an Ofrenda (Offering) to her ancestors and people of Mesoamerica. She created this book to remind people of the Mexican folk magic, cultural traditions and invite people to feel comfortable with the old ways also can also be a toolkit to reclaiming your heritage and power as a Bruja The spells, rituals, exercises and incantations are open to everybody as a contemporary spiritual practice as long as they are handled with respect. Ultimately we decide that our lives are going to be different and reclaim our power since we have the power to be the Magia of our lives.

Discover the Arianrhod Silver Wheel Anthology in this special roundtable
discussion on Goddess Arianrhod featuring my guests Jhenah Telyndru & Maddi Jabin!
We jump into who Arianhrod is, her mythology and attributes as a beloved and powerful Welsh Goddess! We know of Arianhrod’s mythology from the 4th branch of the Mabinogi. A woman unto herself setting boundaries and standing in her truth. Arianhrod rejects motherhood and rules her own court on an island in the sky (Caer Arianhrod or Caer Sidi) and she is known as a Sovereign Goddess and who spins the fate and destiny of souls, the cycles of time and lunar cycles.  Her Welsh name translates to “Silver Wheel.”. She is feminist living her own life on her own terms and who is a celestial (the Aurora Borealis) , sea and land deity. From a cultural/historical context; Arianhrod lived in Celtic Britain at the transition time from matriliny to patriliny. She holds onto the Mother Right and fights for her rights. Arianrhod is a Goddess for the moment!
We dive  into the: Silver Wheel - A Devotional Anthology in Honor of Arainhrod by Ninth Wave Press and discuss the genesis, journey and evolution that this project underwent to be birthed into the world in late August of 2026. The dedication and commitment by volunteers, the Sisters of Avalon, committees, volunteers and the many authors who contributed to make this anthology possible was a very long process. This is one of the Welsh goddesses of a series of anthologies that The Sisterhood of Avalon are devoted to. Maddi points out which originally started as an idea over 10 years ago!  
The Silver Wheel anthology is a treasured book for anyone who wants to connect and form a relationship with Arianhrod through the many personal and inspiring stories, meditations, rituals, poetry, and music/songs from a variety of contributing Authors including myself, Bridget Engels. I am so honored to be a part of this radiantly devotional book!

Explore the Midlife Passage with ISIS and Sarah La Rosa! Sarah is an author, tarot practitioner, healer and guide devoted to women’s spirituality, mythic embodiment and initiatory transformation. Her work explores the sacred thresholds of feminine becoming through mythology, tarot, ritual, poetry and lived experience. She is the author of Her Strange Angels, a devotional collection of prose and prayer for women walking the path of soul remembrance. Her newest book, Midlife Isis, by Inner Traditions is her most intimate and mythic work to date. 
We jump into what the Midlife Passage is for Women in the 10-15 year period that can span from late 30’s through a Woman’s menopausal years with physical, mental and psychological transitions. And who is the Wild Queen? She is the archetype that sits on her throne between the Mother and the Crone in the Triple Goddess consciousness. Sovereign and discerning she reclaims herself. This is the initiation of the Midlife Woman to bridge from the Mother to the Wild Queen archetype. The name ISIS means “throne”. She is the invitation to be the throne- that's what this Midlife Passage is all about. But we must do the work to get there!

Explore the magic and multiple possibilities of Fairies with Morgan Daimler!
Morgan is a prolific Pagan writer who teaches classes on Irish myth, magical practices, fairies, and related subjects in the US and internationally. She has been published in multiple anthologies as well as articles in various magazines, and she is one of the world's foremost experts on all things Fairy. Morgan has a variety of titles available through Moon Books, including: Fairies: A Guide to the Celtic Fair Folk, Fairy: the Otherworld by Many Names, and Paid with a Kiss. Morgan has also presented on Fairies and Witches at several workshops and conferences.
We delve into how Morgan started getting interested and connecting to fairies.
She grew up as part of the Irish-American diaspora without a religious structure but there was and understanding that Fairies and ghosts existed. From a very young age she was able to sense and see spirits. When she was 5 she had a clear memory of interacting with a woman with red hair who seemed real but was a Fairy Morgan believes now. She also would build fairy houses made of sticks, rocks and acorns. She left written messages on her window sill for the Fairies as a child. She believes that Fairies have their own way of communicating with people.
We explore what Fairies and what they are not. Fairies are complicated and fascinating beings who are often contradictory. They are a specific type of spirit or sapient being that come from another reality that is adjacent to ours and they can travel back and forth from that realm to ours. They can shapeshift and be visible and invisible. Morgan tells us that we can find Fairies wherever we are. There’s overlap with Indigenous, Land Spirits, Nature spirits, Nyads, Dryads, Nyads and a whole assortment of spirit beings that can also be Fairies. 
Fairies can also come from the Otherworld into our dreams, trance states, astral traveling too. Morgan tells us that there is dream communication to humans from Fairies and spirits  that goes very far back historically. Time wrks differently in the Otherworld or the realm of Fairy and they are able to cross though into our physical world. Fairies exist outside the concept of time. 
We delve into ways to honor and connect with Fairies in our everyday lives. Good and friendly offerings to fairies can include pouring or a little bowl of pure, clean water, dairy products lsuch as milk or cream, honey, singing, reciting poetry, and ringing bells and doing any of these with genuine love and intention.  And if you see, sense or feel movement in your peripheral vision you should pay attention since they may be Fairies!
We chat about how to blend Fairies in with our Witchcraft practices by connecting to house spirits/fairies. We explore how Tahverlee learned to put all the different pieces of spirituality, magic and interconnectedness can be put into the direction of the North and the physical element of Earth. Embodiment is a big part of Tahverlee’s book on the Sacred North/Earth. iIt’s taking everything we desire and want to experience takes place inside our physical flesh. As well as activating our bodies with the cycles of nature. Our spiritual and psychic gifts also get turned up a notch when we know how to connect with our body. When we Ground and dispel energy and when we raising energy prior to in ritual/spellwork - its all done through our bodies.
We delve into Land Spirits and Ancestors of Earth- and how to connect with them wherever we live. All lands have guardian spirits such as certain animals, trees, mountains, canyons, rocks, and the original human indigenous tribes that used to live on your land/city/town. You can go to a park or open space and meditate and ask to commune with them. And Tahverlee suggests some fast, everyday practices we can do at work or during our busy days. Breathwork, crystals and stones, essential oils and spring water spritzers, and bringing a plant, bloom or flowers at work or your home or workspace connects you to the element of Earth.
