    Why You Feel Guilty When You Try to Change (And How This Is Driving Your Binge Eating)

    You’re bingeing because your body is trying to feel safe.
    And the moment you try to change - eat more, rest, stop the binge,
    you feel guilty.
    So you think:
    “I must be doing something wrong”
    But guilt isn’t a red flag,
    it’s a sign you’re doing something different
    Your nervous system cares about what’s familiar, not what’s right.
    So if restriction and bingeing are familiar, healing WILL feel uncomfortable at first.
