Thomas' new feature film - THE PHILIP EXPERIMENT - recently won the "Palmer d'Or" award at the 10th annual MidWest WeirdFest; an award that honors the memory of Wisconsin sci-fi and Fortean pioneer, Raymond A. Palmer, and recognizes excellence in the field today. .
THE PHILIP EXPERIMENT is a found footage horror film, that takes its name and inspiration from a 1972 parapsychology experiment that invented a fictional character - named Philip - and then allegedly communicated with that entity via séances.
In Thomas' film, a team of paranormal researchers led by an unscrupulous documentary filmmaker also try to summon the ghost of a fictional character. It's a found footage gem that blurs the lines between real paranormal history and edge-of-your-seat terror.

His influence now spans the globe through senior roles in prestigious organizations like the IUCN Crocodile Specialist Group and the Species Survival Commission (SSC). From pioneering crocodilian DNA research to leading the Philippine crocodile conservation initiative, Terry has spent over 60 years bridging the gap between adventurous exploration and critical scientific preservation.
