  • The Haunted Pool Mannequin
The Haunted Pool Mannequin This week, we dive into two chilling listener submissions that will make you think twice about your next swim or house purchase. Get 60% off the Magic Mind offer with our link https://magicmind.com/bizarremf or code BIZARRE60 upon checkout. #magicmind #mentalwealth #mentalperformance Our first story comes from Baker in Nebraska, who experienced some truly terrifying encounters while working as a lifeguard at what can only be described as a haunted pool facility. From feeling constantly watched while cleaning locker rooms to hearing mysterious conversations and footsteps when alone, Baker's experiences escalated dramatically after the staff started treating their CPR training mannequin, Fred, like a real person. Our second story takes us on a decades-long journey with Tara and her family, spanning from 2001 to 2024 across multiple homes in Texas. What began as a dream house purchase - complete with two acres and a backyard creek - quickly turned into a nightmare when neighbors warned them that "no one stays together in this house." We explore the escalating paranormal activity that seemed to center around Tara's mother, from shadow figures and putrid smells to physical attacks and one of the most unsettling doppelganger encounters we've ever heard. Patreon: Support Believing the Bizarre and get tons of extra content by joining our Patreon. • Terrified Together with Drinking the Koolaid
We're thrilled to share our second official "Terrified Together," , where we welcomed Amanda and Cassidy from Drinking the Koolaid for some creepy listener submission stories. Our first tale comes from Reagan, who experienced something truly unsettling during a seventh-grade school trip to the notoriously haunted Savannah, Georgia. What started as an innocent exploration of a small cemetery near their log cabin accommodations took a dark turn. Our second story transported us to rural Texas in 2020, where Sabrina's routine drive home from babysitting her nephew became anything but ordinary. Strange lights pursued her car at impossible speeds, followed by a mysterious loss of time and unexplained physical symptoms. We wrapped up with Ben's lifelong encounters in Montana, beginning with childhood visits from what he called "The Stomp Dance girls" and escalating to shadow figures and mysterious dancing lights in his bedroom. • Mimics
Mimic Cryptids and Creatures This week we discuss mimics - creatures that disguise themselves by imitating the voices and appearances of our loved ones. We explore the umbrella term of "mimic" and break down the various cryptids that fall under this category, from the familiar doppelgangers and skinwalkers to the lesser-known but equally disturbing Fleshgait and False Humans. These entities are said to lurk in forests, particularly around the Appalachian Mountains, using their supernatural abilities to lure unsuspecting victims by perfectly replicating the voices of family members and friends calling out from the darkness. We also share five creepy encounters from Reddit users who've experienced these deceptive creatures firsthand, including stories from Tennessee cabins, Minneapolis parks, and remote Montana wilderness. From hearing a sister's voice calling from outside while she sits right next to you, to a boyfriend's doppelganger appearing bedside with unnaturally wide eyes, these accounts are sure to give you some chills!
