This is our final week in the Song of Solomon! As we look at the final verses of the book (SoS 8:5-14), we find a charge that speaks wisdom to us in the days of singleness before marriage and the days after the "honeymoon phase" of marriage has ended.

We are continuing through the story of The Song of Solomon. This week we unpack SoS 6:4-8:4 and take a look at the redemption that transform our delight and desires.

For the first time in The Song of Solomon, there is major dysfunction. SoS: 5.2-6.3 shows us how the husband and the wife experience intimacy issues as they journey toward the garden of love.

Listen to see how this is experienced both in the marriage context of a husband and wife, and our marriage to Christ as his bride, the Church. Truly, the gospel reminds us of Christ the perfect husband, offering redemptive hope in the midst of our intimacy dysfunction.

As we continue to journey through The Song of Solomon, we take a look at a wedding procession in SoS 3:6-11.
The bride points us to see Solomon in his royal greatness, why? The wedding procession shows that he has become her husband - a humble bride married a glorious king. 
We are the humble bride too, becoming the bride of a glorious king too - the greater king than even Solomon in his glory, Jesus.

We are continuing our journey through The Song of Solomon this week, looking at SoS 3:1-5. As the bride searches out her husband, the one whom her soul loves, we also find that Jesus is the perfect husband for his bride, the church.
