A changed heart means a changed leader. You are a leader who truly wants to lead like Jesus, the greatest leadership role model of all time—but you don’t. Why? Paul had the same problem. He articulated his frustration perfectly in Romans 7:15: “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do.” Does this sound familiar to you? What is in the heart determines why we do what we do; our hearts are the source of our motivations. What motivates you to lead others? Is your leadership about you? We continue to see that the most persistent barrier to leading like Jesus is a heart motivated by self-interest.

Accurate Self Awareness is critical in the way we seek out, receive, and apply feedback. It begins with two critical questions: Whose Are You? and Who Are You? These questions ultimately point to our Identity. Self-awareness is simply a conscious knowledge of one’s own character, feelings, motives and desires. Accurate self-awareness has the potential to propel us to new heights, safeguard from unnecessary blunders and strengthen relationships. If ignored, misguided or rejected, it can derail even the best, most skilled and prepared leaders.

Interview with Oleg Vasilevsky from Ukraine
Oleg Vasilevsky and his wife Lena have been a part of our global Lead Like Jesus family for over 5 years. They are from Ukraine, and today they are on the frontlines helping to feed thousands of war victims. "Food is the number one priority. Russians have destroyed bridges and roads and it’s getting harder and harder to buy food. People are beginning to starve in some areas. At the same time there is a need for basic essentials. We are getting dozens of calls a day but have nothing to give. Churches who we partner with provide weekly care to 11,000 refugees as well as distribute food locally." - Oleg You can learn more about Oleg and his team's work, and how to help financially here: https://www.spiritofvictory.org
