Episode 105: 'Kingdom Over Country: Rethinking Christian Nationalism' with S. Michael Craven

    08/04/2026 | 44 mins.
In this episode of The Rev Rx Podcast, Chad sits down with S. Michael Craven from the Colson Center to tackle one of the most misunderstood topics in modern Christianity: Christian Nationalism vs. the Kingdom of God.

This conversation goes deeper than politics.

    It's about:
-Why many Christians feel stuck or ineffective in today's culture
    - How we've reduced the gospel to something smaller than it was meant to be.
    - What it actually looks like to live out your faith in everyday life
    - Why you can't legislate holiness - and what actually transforms people
    - and much more!

Michael unpacks the idea of 'public theology' - a faith that isn't just personal, but lived out in every aspect of life. If you've ever wondered if you're actually living out your faith, or just believing the right things- this one will challenge and equip you.

Episode 104: 'Did Jesus Really Rise From The Dead?' with Matthew Mittelberg

    01/04/2026 | 41 mins.
This episode, just in time for Holy Week, is about the resurrection of Jesus and why it really matters for Christians. Chad talks with Matthew Mittelberg, a Christian apologist with 'Apologetics Inc', who explains that if Jesus did not rise from the dead, our faith would be pointless. However, there is solid and reliable historical evidence that He did.

They talk about Bible facts, what early Christians saw, and why other ideas (like “wrong tomb” or “Jesus only fainted”) do not sufficiently explain the reality of the evidence. Chad and Matthew also show that Christianity is not “brainless.” God wants us to love Him with our hearts and our minds, and it is okay to ask hard questions about what we believe.

This episode is great if you have doubts, want simple and easy-to-understand reasons to trust the resurrection, or need help explaining your faith to friends. This Easter, be encouraged that what we celebrate as Christians is indeed fact, not fiction.

Episode 103: 'It's Just A Game: A Wake-Up Call For Sports Parents' with Jonathan Carone

    25/03/2026 | 45 mins.
In this episode of the RevRx Podcast, Chad sits down with Jonathan Carone from Healthy Sports Parents to talk about what’s really happening in the hearts of moms and dads on the sidelines. They unpack why otherwise loving, Jesus-following parents can find themselves yelling at refs, riding their kids after games, or quietly tying their identity to a nine-year-old’s stat line.

Jonathan shares the story that launched Healthy Sports Parents in early 2025, after watching a dad berate his eight- or nine-year-old daughter after a soccer game and recognizing how easily he could become that same dad.

Chad and Jonathan wrestle honestly with sports idolatry, the pressure coaches feel for their own kids to perform, and why youth sports tend to expose our deepest insecurities rather than create them. Instead of piling on shame, he offers a compassionate path forward: grow your self-awareness, do the inner work, and remember there is “grace upon grace” as you stumble toward a healthier way of showing up for your kids.

Episode 101: 'Genesis, Grace, and the God Who Pursues Us' with Rev Kagan McClain

    11/03/2026 | 53 mins.
In this episode, local pastor and Bible teacher Rev. Kagan McClain returns to unpack the rich theology of Genesis and why the Old Testament is essential, not optional, for Christians today. Together we explore creation as God bringing order from chaos, Eden as the first temple, and humanity’s original calling to spread God’s rule across the earth.

We talk about the fall, the “proto‑gospel” in God’s curse on the serpent, and how even death itself is a surprising act of grace that keeps us from being eternally stuck in rebellion. Kagan shows how stories like Cain and Abel point forward to Jesus and how the whole Bible is a story of exile and exodus—God coming into our exile to lead us home.

You’ll also hear practical encouragement on shame, hiding, and bringing sin into the light, plus what it really means that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us. If you’ve ever stalled out in Genesis or wondered how the Old and New Testaments fit together, this conversation will help you see the first pages of Scripture—and your own calling—in a new way.
