Ep. 317 - Posting for the Mission: Showing Up Online Without Performing

    04/06/2026 | 22 mins.
What if sharing your work online could feel less like performance and more like service?

In this episode of Empowering Her, I am continuing the conversation around social media, self-worth, and what it means to show up online with intention. This time, we are taking it one step deeper: how do we post when we believe in the mission, but we are just not feeling inspired?

This episode is for the GiRLiFE coaches in our community and for every mother, mentor, teacher, therapist, counselor, coach, auntie, community leader, and woman who feels called to support girls in a deeper way.

Because when you are here to empower girls, posting is not just about visibility. It is about mission. It is about letting the right people know that support, tools, conversations, workshops, and resources exist.

In this episode, I talk about how to come back to the girl who needs the message, the woman who loves her, and the mission that is bigger than our fear of being seen. I also share why we need to stop trying to sound inspiring and start telling the truth, how to post from devotion instead of performance, why creating before consuming protects your voice, and how mission visibility is so different from personal validation.

The reminder is simple: you do not have to become an influencer to make an impact. You get to become a messenger.

Listen in and ask yourself: what does this mission need from me today?

Ep. 316 - The Rule of Engagement: How Women Can Model Healthy Social Media for Girls

    26/05/2026 | 22 mins.
What if the way we engage with social media is teaching our girls more than anything we could ever say?

In this episode of Empowering Her, I am opening up a real conversation about social media, self-worth, validation, and what it means to model healthy digital behavior for the girls in our lives.

I originally thought this would be two separate conversations, one for women and one for teens. Then I realized they are really the same conversation. So many of the things we are asking girls to navigate online are the very same things we are navigating ourselves.

We tell girls that their worth has nothing to do with likes, comments, followers, or validation online. And then sometimes, we pick up our own phones and forget to live by the very wisdom we are trying to hand them.

This episode is an invitation to pause before we post. To check the energy behind what we share. To notice whether we are posting from joy or from hunger. To ask whether we are expressing ourselves or measuring ourselves.

Because if we are going to be empowered women empowering girls, we have to walk our talk.

In this episode, I talk about:
Why social media can be beautiful, but should never become the place where we decide if we are enough
The difference between sharing and reaching
How to check the energy behind a post before you hit share
Why posting from overflow feels so different than posting from emptiness
How a post can perform well and still leave you feeling empty
Why joy is a powerful strategy when it comes to creating content
How the algorithm may be real, but your nervous system matters more
Why our girls are watching how we engage with social media
How to use social media from a place of power, clarity, creativity, and truth

This conversation is for every woman who wants to feel more intentional with social media. It is for mothers, mentors, coaches, educators, leaders, and every woman who wants to model a healthier relationship with visibility, validation, and self-worth.

The real rule of engagement is this:
Before you ask the world to engage with your content, engage with yourself.

And before you post, ask yourself:
Am I posting from joy, or am I posting from hunger?

That one question might save you from handing your power away to a screen.

If you have ever felt the pull to empower girls, I would love to invite you to learn more about the GiRLiFE movement.

Ep. 315 - How to Stop Taking Yourself So Seriously and Start Playing More

    13/05/2026 | 13 mins.
What if the most magnetic version of you is the one who stops trying so hard to be perfect?

In a world that feels so heavy, maybe the answer is not to become more polished, more filtered, or more put together. Maybe the answer is to become more playful. More real. More free.

This week on Empowering Her, I’m sharing what it looks like to stop taking ourselves so seriously and start letting life surprise us again. From awkwardly attempting hip hop choreography in Manhattan to handing out kindness notes with a friend just because it felt fun and human, this episode is a reminder that joy lives in the imperfect moments.

Somewhere along the way, so many of us stopped playing.
We stopped dancing if we weren’t “good.”
We stopped doing quirky things that made us feel alive.
We started curating instead of living.
But the truth is, nobody is connecting to perfection.
    People connect to presence.
    To authenticity.
To the woman willing to laugh at herself and take up space anyway.

In this episode, I talk about:

    • Why adults need play just as much as children do
    • How social media has us taking ourselves way too seriously
    • The freedom that comes when you stop worrying about doing it “right”
    • Why imperfection creates deeper connection
    • Small ways to bring whimsy, joy, and spontaneity back into your everyday life
    • The powerful shift that happens when you stop caring so much about what other people think

If this episode speaks to your heart, share it with someone you love and leave a review for the Empowering Her podcast. It helps us get these conversations into more hearts, ears, and lives.

Ep. 314 - The Cost of Assuming the Worst + What To Do Instead

    01/05/2026 | 9 mins.
Why are we so quick to assume the worst—and then act like it’s truth?

There’s a quieter, more powerful option available to you: assume positive intent.
Not in the moments that are clearly unacceptable. Not when your boundaries are being crossed.
But in the everyday, subtle situations where we turn nothing into something.
    Someone cuts you off.
A comment lands the wrong way.
A girl in your workshop says she’s bored.
And just like that, a story forms.
But what if it wasn’t about you?
What if there was something else going on—something neutral, or even understandable?
Because here’s the truth: assuming negative intent is exhausting. It’s heavy. It drains you.
And assuming positive intent? It frees you.
    You’re using energy either way.
Choose the kind that actually feels good in your body.

    In this episode:
Why we default to negative assumptions
The difference between protecting yourself and overinterpreting
How this shift transforms your relationships and leadership
A simple reframe that creates more ease, connection, and clarity

Ep. 313 - The Experience That’s Rewiring How I Do Business

    22/04/2026 | 18 mins.
What do you do when something you thought would work… doesn’t?

Recently, I experienced a moment in my life and business where things didn’t unfold the way I expected. Something I had invested time, energy, and intention into completely missed the mark.

And instead of jumping into fix-it mode or forcing the next move, I chose something different.
    I gave myself space.

In this episode, I’m sharing what came through in that space. The clarity that revealed itself when I stopped pushing, stopped trying to control the outcome, and allowed myself to actually sit with what was happening.
This conversation is about trusting yourself when things feel uncertain, releasing the pressure to have it all figured out, and allowing a new way forward to emerge.

It’s also about something deeper that’s been coming through strongly for me:
    People are craving real connection.

In a world that feels increasingly fast, automated, and surface-level, there is something powerful about slowing down, tuning in, and choosing a more human way of living, working, and relating.
If you’ve been feeling off, stuck, or unsure of your next step, this episode will meet you right where you are.

    In this episode, we explore:
What it feels like when things don’t go the way you planned
Why rushing to fix everything can block clarity
The power of giving yourself space instead of forcing action
Trusting your intuition over outside noise
Letting go of timelines and expectations that don’t feel aligned
Why connection matters now more than ever
Creating a life and work that actually supports who you are
Allowing your next step to reveal itself naturally

If something in your life isn’t working right now, it may not be a sign to push harder.
It may be an invitation to pause… and listen.
