467. My Thoughts On Dating As A Homeschool Mom With Young Adults
09/07/2026 | 22 mins.
Every single family approaches the topic of dating differently. There may be some overlap, but every family is unique, so there will always be some variability. Even for my family, there has been a progression and changes throughout the years. And it's finally time to share our story and perspective on dating. My goal is not to sway you to our way of doing this, but rather to share our story and give you some ideas. Ultimately, it's you and your husband listening to the Holy Spirit as you establish boundaries and terms. This isn't a my way vs. your way argument. I personally think it's more beneficial to listen and learn from others and then be true to your family's dating process. Give this episode a listen and reach out with any questions! ♥ Leigh

For many of the years of parenting and homeschooling, we wonder if what we're doing will make an impact on our children. We mull over what they will take away from these years. Recently, I got a peek into something about the homeschool years that surprised me. Not only did he tell me, but he spoke it publicly to all of those who attended his back yard homeschool graduation ceremony. What he said surprised me and there was a reaction from some of those in attendance and I am going to give you a glimpse into that in today's episode. My hope is that it gives you the encouragement that your heart may need today. ♥ Leigh

You remember the day that your tiny baby boy lay nestled in your arms for the first time. And as he grew, so did your relationship. The two of you are buddies and he adores you. The {not so funny} thing about little boys is that they grow up. And before we know it, they're the size of grown men and we wonder how we fit into the world now. It wasn't long ago that I strugled with what my relationship would look like with my boys as they hit the teen years and beyond. And I have heard from many of you who have the same concerns. Today's episode will place you into my shoes and I'll share a little bit of what I have learned through trial and error in hopes that it settles your anxious heart. ♥ Leigh
