    It’s Been a Lot… Friendship Breakups, Mental Health & What I’ve Learnt

    15/06/2026 | 33 mins.
Friendship breakups can hurt just as deeply as romantic ones, especially when you lose the person you once believed would always be there.
In this deeply personal solo episode of Sensory Overload, Billy opens up about friendship grief, mental health, being hospitalised, body image, weight-loss peptides and what happens when multiple parts of your life begin falling apart at the same time.
After weeks of questions, Billy addresses why he has chosen not to publicly expose, attack or tear anybody down. Instead, he speaks honestly from his own experience about the hurt of losing a close friendship, processing anger without allowing it to change who you are, setting boundaries and learning that history does not give somebody permanent access to your life.
He also opens up about his mental health reaching breaking point, the pressure of grief, financial uncertainty, business investors falling through and the difficult reality of having to become one of the people willing to save yourself.
Billy shares his experience of stopping weight-loss peptides in January and realising how toxic his relationship with food and exercise had become. What initially felt like discipline slowly became punishment, with food feeling like something that had to be earned through working out.
This episode is about friendship breakups, accountability, mental health recovery, body image, restrictive eating, starting over and learning how to have your own back when life feels completely out of control.
Plus, Billy shares what is next for Sensory Overload, his plans for London and the introduction of Overshare, the faster and messier home for Love Island recaps, pop culture and unfiltered conversations.
