From an early age, John wanted to be a cowboy. He had the opportunity to work on a variety of different ranches across the American west as he honed his skills in horsemanship, stockmanship and ranch management. John shares how mentors such as Bud Williams and Allan Savory helped shape his skill set and perspective as a cowboy and rancher. Ultimately, John came to the conclusion that most ranches suffered from one distinct problem, a lack of financial understanding.
