Don't Marry a Liability: Bola Sokunbi, Clever Girl Finance

    19/06/2026 | 49 mins.
Nobody warned us about money, so we brought in someone who actually knows.
Bola Sokunbi grew up watching her mother's friends turn up at the door with their suitcases and their kids and nowhere to go, because they didn't have their own money. She decided that would never be her. Born in Austria, raised between Nigeria and the US, she started her first job on a $54,000 salary, saved $100,000 in three years, and built Clever Girl Finance, now one of the largest personal finance platforms for women in the country.
In this episode we get into the things women aren't supposed to say out loud: why money is the number one reason relationships fall apart, what to actually do first when you're drowning in debt with no savings, why "always have your own money" isn't cynical, it's survival, and how to raise daughters who never have to depend on a man (or a father, as Beyza learned the hard way). Financial independence, divorce, marriage, motherhood, the unpaid labor quietly worth a million dollars a year, and the mindset shift that starts all of it.
Bola's rule, straight from her dad: don't marry a liability. And don't let a liability marry you.
Consider this your permission slip to stop pretending you've got it all figured out.

She Just Wanted to See Snow: Human Trafficking & How Awareness Saves Lives

    05/06/2026 | 43 mins.
"She just wanted to see snow."
That's how Sensei Carol White describes one of the survivors she's met. Carol is a black belt martial artist and co-chair of the first human trafficking awareness committee of Women's Club of Coconut Grove in Florida and she's been fighting this in our backyard for almost a decade.
The numbers stopped us cold. 1 out of 7 men here has paid for sex with a minor. 90% of identified victims are girls between 11 and 17. Most of them are local kids.
With the FIFA World Cup in Miami this summer, the stakes are higher than ever. Carol explains why mega sporting events draw traffickers, and what's being done to fight back.
We talk about how it actually happens, the Romeo effect, the social media grooming, the runaways and foster kids they target first. Carol shows us self-defense you can use with what's already in your hand. And she tells us the one thing to yell that actually makes people come running. (Hint: it's not "help.")
This episode isn't easy. But we walked away less scared and more aware. And that's everything.

Who Turns Women On: Marni Mann

    21/05/2026 | 44 mins.
She opened the show by reading us something that made Kriszta say "go to bed." That's when we knew this was going to be different.
Marni Mann has written over 40 books. Five to six a year. She started with addiction memoirs and pivoted to spicy billionaire romance and never looked back. Her readers thank her. Their husbands thank her husband.
We got into female desire, fantasy, dead libidos, what women actually want from romance, why overwhelmed women need escapism more than anyone admits. We also talked about grief, her grandmother, and the book she wrote at 4AM the night she held her hand as she died.
Yes. All of that. One episode.
Topics: spicy romance, female desire, marriage, perimenopause, intimacy, addiction, women's mental health, building a business, handling hate, and why women over 30 don't wait until page 80 for anything anymore.

    25/04/2026 | 54 mins.
Life doesn't warn you. It just changes. One day you're a wife, a mother, a career woman, and the next you're asking "who am I now?" In this episode, Kriszta and Beyza sit down with Jennifer Warren Medwin, Miami-based empowerment strategist, certified divorce coach, Florida Supreme Court family mediator and author, who has turned her own hardest chapters into a lifeline for thousands of women. We get into her IMPACT method, the 3 A's of change, why the words you use have more power than you think, why women over 40 need to stop shoulding all over themselves, the difference between being a victim and a creator, how to rebuild your identity after divorce or separation, navigating midlife reinvention and co-parenting with confidence, her GLAD technique for ending every day with intention, glimmers vs triggers for women's mental health, and the two words that changed how Jennifer sees every mess in her life. Whether you're going through divorce recovery, an empty nest, a career change, or any major life transition, this one is for you. About Breakfast with Benefits
Nobody warned us either. Kriszta is Hungarian. Beyza is Turkish. Between us we've changed countries, rebuilt lives and started over more times than we can count. We found each other in Miami and never stopped talking. Because here's what we know: Women connect everywhere, across every language, every culture, every border. The feelings are the same. The chaos is the same. And nobody should be sitting alone with their thoughts thinking they're the only one. We bring in people who have figured something out; doctors, coaches, authors, experts and real humans and we ask them everything. We laugh, we vent, we find the light at the end of the tunnel together. Or at least we find each other in the dark. Think of it as coffee with two women who get it. You'll feel a little better after. Until the next chaos hits. ๐Ÿ˜„ For every woman who thought she was the only one. Outrageously hosted by Kriszta and Beyza. Based in Miami. Recorded everywhere.
