  • 931 | Healing Doesn't Have to Be Hard
In this episode, I challenge the notion that healing must be a heavy, burdensome experience. Instead, I advocate for a lighter approach, where we can learn to feel our emotions without being overwhelmed by them. Throughout the episode, I discuss the concept of nervous system regulation and how it plays a crucial role in our healing journey. I explain that healing does not necessitate a complete pause in our lives; rather, it involves training our minds to respond differently to triggers and challenges. By embracing emotions and learning to navigate them, we can create a sense of safety and calm even amidst growth and expansion. • 930 | Inspiration Isn't Enough — Why I'm Here to Activate You
In this episode, Marsha dives into the distinction between inspiration and activation, sharing her personal insights and experiences that have shaped her understanding of these concepts. She begins by expressing her mixed feelings about being labelled "inspiring," revealing that while she appreciates the sentiment, it often feels superficial unless it leads to tangible change in others' lives. She explains how activation reaches beyond the conscious mind, tapping into one's identity and beliefs, ultimately leading to a shift in perspective and behaviour. Marsha passionately advocates for the importance of language in this process, highlighting how words can program activation in the subconscious mind. • 929 | Improving Brain Health with BrainTap with Dr. Patrick Porter
In this episode, I am speaking with Neuroscience Expert | Inventor of BrainTap® | Brain Fitness Pioneer, Dr Patrick K. Porter. Dr. Porter has spent his life asking a radical question: What if we could train the brain like a muscle and transform lives without pills, struggle, or guesswork? Introduced to the power of mind training by his father at an early age, Dr. Porter's lifelong passion has been exploring how visualization, brainwave science, and neuroplasticity can unlock human potential. As a pioneer in brainwave entertainment since the 1980s, Dr. Porter saw possibilities where others saw limitations. He co-developed the first personal brain training device long before "biohacking" became a buzzword, and continues to do so today. He's the mind behind BrainTap®—a revolutionary platform trusted by over 120,000 users, professional athletes, and 3,000+ health clinics worldwide. His work, backed by 30+ clinical studies and spotlighted across The Wall Street Journal, CNN, and The Joe Rogan Experience, proves that brain fitness isn't about puzzles or trends—it's about science, balance, and unlocking the brain's innate ability to heal, perform, and thrive. Through BrainTap and his upcoming book, Brain Fitness Blueprint, Dr. Porter is leading a global movement to help millions reclaim their mental clarity, emotional resilience, and human potential—one brain at a time. • 928 | How NLP Helps You to Embody Resilience As An Entrepreneur
In this episode, Marsha reframes the narrative around resilience, challenging the notion that it is merely a badge of honour or a sign of strength. Instead, she posits that true resilience is about maintaining emotional regulation and resourcefulness in the face of life's inevitable challenges. Throughout the episode, Marsha shares her insights on how to shift perspectives, using a recent example of a client who expressed self-doubt. By flipping the narrative to highlight the client's belief in herself, Marsha illustrates the power of reframing one's story. She emphasizes that resilience is not about relentless grit but about being flexible in thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, allowing for a quicker recovery from setbacks. Marsha introduces the concept of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) as a tool for understanding how our thoughts shape our beliefs and behaviours. She explains that resilience is a state of being that can be cultivated through practice, rather than an inherent trait. By viewing challenges as opportunities for growth, entrepreneurs can develop a more sustainable approach to their journeys. HIGHLIGHTS 00:01:00 - The Concept of Resilience 00:02:00 - Reframing Resilience 00:03:00 - The Role of Belief 00:04:00 - True Resiliency 00:05:00 - NLP and Resilience 00:06:00 - Behavioural Flexibility 00:07:00 - Emotional Flexibility 00:08:00 - Subconscious Mind and Resilience 00:10:00 - Reprogramming Techniques 00:11:00 - Building Resilience Through Feedback 00:12:00 - The Nervous System Connection 00:13:00 - Recognizing Dysregulation 00:14:00 - Safety and Expansion 00:15:00 - Resilience as a Leadership Strategy 00:16:00 - Sustainable Growth 00:17:00 - Navigating Uncertainty 00:18:00 - Conclusion and Invitation to Masterclass Marsha Vanwynsberghe — NLP Storytelling Trainer, OUTSPOKEN NLP Coaching Certification, Author, Speaker, and Podcaster Unbothered Mind Private Podcast https://www.marshavanw.com/unbotheredmindpodcast Meet me at the Heart-Wired CEO LIVE Event on November 7th & 8th. • 927 | Learning to Recharge and Reprogram Your Mind
In this episode, I am thrilled to share my reflections following the Outspoken Master Practitioner immersion, a transformative six-day experience where we practiced and experienced the tools of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). This was my first time leading such an intensive program, and while it came with its challenges, I emerged with invaluable insights about myself and my coaching practice. I also touch on the subconscious mind's inclination to cling to familiar patterns, even if they lead to exhaustion. I highlight the significance of pausing and integrating our experiences rather than falling into the trap of perfectionism and overdoing it. By recognizing these patterns, we can reprogram our thoughts and create a more balanced approach to our work and lives. HIGHLIGHTS 00:00:00 - Introduction and Reflection on the Outspoken Master Practitioner 00:01:05 - The Dangers of Being "Realistic" 00:02:30 - The Importance of Integration and Rest 00:04:06 - Reprogramming Your Thoughts 00:05:54 - Recognizing Old Patterns and Embracing Change 00:07:21 - The Value of Rest and Reflection 00:08:38 - The Journey of Becoming Unbothered 00:09:56 - Permission to Learn and Grow 00:11:10 - Finding Humour in the Process Marsha Vanwynsberghe — NLP Storytelling Trainer, OUTSPOKEN NLP Coaching Certification, Author, Speaker, and Podcaster Unbothered Mind Private Podcast https://www.marshavanw.com/unbotheredmindpodcast Meet me at the Heart-Wired CEO LIVE Event on November 7th & 8th.
