Patriarchy demonized gossip because it hates when women speak
17/12/2025 | 41 mins.
Most of us think of gossip as something malicious. However, for centuries, gossip had no negative connotation. A woman's "gossip" were her close friends, and female friendships were a form of social power that gave women's lives fulfillment and security. It all became topsy turvy in the 16th century, when the church combined forces with labour guilds (you'll see what I mean). That's when gossip became demonized into something malicious, aggressive, and bitchy. Because patriarchy and early capitalism needed quiet, subservient women in order to function. In this episode, we'll discuss:Why patriarchy & controlling men are so scared of female friendshipsThe violent history of silencing womenHow men continue to silence womenThe role of gossip in human evolutionHow to reclaim gossip in your life starting todayπ Don't forget to get your copy of How to Hack the Patriarchy on Amazon or purchase the EPUB file.Sources:Gossip in Evolutionary PerspectiveThe Feminist Origins Of GossipThe scandalous origins of gossipWitches, Witch-Hunting, and Women__________ποΈ About the podcast: The patriarchy is starting to crumble, but sadly it probably won't be fully dismantled in our lifetime. Religion groomed girls so we'd never realize Woman is god
10/12/2025 | 55 mins.
Have you ever wondered why every Abrahamic religion treats menstruating women as dirty and spiritually contaminated? Thatβs because religion took creation β something thatβs uniquely feminine β and attributed it to a male god. And because it couldnβt erase the physical evidence of female creation, it warped it into something shameful and impure. In this episode, I roll up my sleeves and answer the questions many of us are afraid to ask. Iβll discuss:How religion began 250,000 years ago as a shamanistic practice with female leadersThe catalyst that made religion devolve into a patriarchal institutionThe neuroscience research showing how religion shuts down parts of our brainHow religion & girlhood socialization contain complementary grooming mechanismsThe missing piece explaining the paradox that women tend to be more religious than menWhether Abrahamic religions can ever serve women& the spiritual tool that women need β¨ God isnβt a woman. Girly law of power #29: Stop being afraid of being alone
03/12/2025 | 47 mins.
Society tells us the major βaccomplishmentsβ in a womanβs life are getting married and having kids. Both of which are actions that bring people into her life. Unfortunately, most of whatβs celebrated in women is about distracting us from our power and finding ourselves in other people. On top of that, thereβs so much fear instilled in us: βWhoβs going to take care of you when youβre old?β βYour biological clock is ticking!β βWhoβs going to protect you?β βYouβre happy now but what about when youβre 50 and alone?βThereβs only ONE thing guaranteed in your life: your relationship with yourself. So why is it that so many women are terrified of being alone? In this episode we discuss:How patriarchy uses tools like urgency and fear to spook us into dependence and distractionThe difference between being single and being sovereignWhy fearing being alone is a way of living on borrowed time4 ways to deprogram our fear of being aloneβ¨Hope you love it and can use this law to make your dreams come true. 30/11/2025 | 14 mins.

This one's from the introduction.Class is in session, and today we're discussing feminism's branding problem. Over the last few years, feminism's reputation has become severely damaged. If you say you're a feminist, get ready to be labelled an angry, man-hating, snowflake. What was once a widely accepted (and vital) social movement has now been reduced to a joke among men and an embarrassment among women. Why did this shift happen? And what can we do to shift this perception and get the show back on the road? Tune into this class to find out.π Ready to hack the patriarchy?
