- Everybody wants a better life. But are you actually willing to change?
We live in a world obsessed with self-improvement, optimization, and the next big thing promising to make your life better. More apps, more advice, more influencers selling you the perfect morning routine. But here's the question:
Are you becoming a better person, or just a more efficient version of your old self?
You can get sober, get in shape, make more money, and check every box on the self-improvement list. But what about your character? Your relationships? How you treat people when nobody's watching?
In this episode, we're talking about what it really means to become new through Jesus, why faith should change how you live, and how to stop trying to fix everybody else while ignoring the things you need to work on.
You don't need another upgraded version of the old you. Maybe it's time to become new.
Plus, a few laughs about social media influencers, ridiculous marketing, and why everybody suddenly has a masterclass to sell you.

We live in a culture obsessed with optimization, planning and control. We track everything, analyze everything and want to know exactly how things are going to turn out.
But faith doesn’t always work that way.
In this episode, Shane digs into what Jesus feeding the 5,000 can teach us about trusting God when the math doesn’t make sense. Sometimes our instinct is to analyze the problem, calculate the odds and figure everything out, while God may simply be asking us to trust Him.
But trusting God doesn’t mean sitting around and being a lazy ass either.
Do the next right thing. Do the work. Limit the expectation. Trust God with the outcome.
We also get into what it looks like to share your faith without beating people over the head with a Bible. Let your life create the question. Love people. Serve people. Live differently. But don’t confuse attraction with compromise, Jesus never changed the truth just because people didn’t like the message.
Maybe you don’t need the entire plan today.
Maybe you just need enough faith to take the next step.
Less: “God, here’s my plan. Please bless it.”
More: “God, show me where You’re leading.”

This week, we’re talking about what happens when the things we use to escape, cope or prove ourselves stop delivering what we thought they would.
After a night at The Whosoevers Boise Invasion grand opening with P.O.D., Head and Fieldy from Korn, Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf, Dave Buckner from Papa Roach and many other amazing people, one message stood out:
“Religion is dead. This is about a relationship with God.”
Maybe you’ve spent years searching too.
Alcohol. Drugs. Money. Success. Approval. Relationships. Work. Constantly trying to become a better version of yourself.
But what if you don’t just need to do better?
What if you need to become new?
In John 3:5–8, Jesus talks about being born again, born of the Spirit. And John 3:30 gives us another challenge:
“He must become greater; I must become less.”
Less ego. Less control. Less trying to prove ourselves. More of Him.
This episode is about sobriety, surrender, relationship over religion, and finding the peace we may have been searching for in all the wrong places.
You don’t need to have God figured out. Maybe you just start with an honest question:
“Jesus, if You’re real, show me.”
And yes… we also learn that getting sober does NOT make a 45-year-old body recover from a mosh pit any faster.
Keep your blood clean.

17/09/2026 | 42 mins.Athletic Brewing Is Changing the Game.
What happens when NFL quarterbacks stop just drinking the beer and start owning the company?
Dak Prescott and Drake Maye recently became athlete-owners of Athletic Brewing, one of the biggest names in the non-alcoholic beer movement. And their involvement raises a much bigger question:
Are we watching a major shift in sports culture?
For decades, beer and professional sports were practically inseparable. The old-school NFL quarterback was the guy crushing beers after the game. Today, elite athletes are talking about recovery, sleep, performance, longevity, and what they put in their bodies. And now some of those same athletes are putting their names, platforms, and money behind non-alcoholic beer.
Shane Ramer takes a curious, funny, and sometimes skeptical look at Athletic Brewing, Dak Prescott, Drake Maye, non-alcoholic beer, masculinity, performance culture, and the rapidly changing relationship between athletes and alcohol.
Is non-alcoholic beer actually cool?
Is it just fake beer for people who don't want to admit they're drinking?
Why does someone else's beverage seem to bother people so much?
And could “I want to feel good tomorrow” become the new flex?
Shane also gets personal about his own relationship with alcohol and why he believes the bigger conversation isn't simply about being “sober.” It's about becoming more intentional about what helps you perform, connect, celebrate, recover, and actually enjoy your life.
Because maybe the future isn't about whether you drink or don't drink.
Maybe it's about whether you're getting everything you want out of your life.
This is a conversation about beer.
But it's really about where sports, culture, business, and performance are headed next.

09/09/2026 | 59 mins.25 years after 9/11, we’re still living in the world it created.
Security. Surveillance. War. Media. Technology. Fear. Freedom.
September 11 changed America in ways most of us never could have imagined. And now, 25 years later, it’s worth asking: Did we actually learn anything?
We’ll also get into the $2.3 trillion question, Tony Romo, Trump and AI, and some of the strange connections surrounding the world we’re living in today.
And for me, there’s one more reason this date matters. September 11 is also the day I gave up drinking 13 years ago.
One day changed a country.
One day changed my life.
