    143. Getting Out of the House in the AM

    13/07/2026 | 14 mins.
In this episode of The Bright Method Podcast, Kelly Nolan riffs on a question from a friend: why does it always take so long to get out of the house in the morning, and what do you actually do about it? She walks through three things – embracing how long getting out the door actually takes (it's probably 15–20 minutes, minimum), calendaring that reality instead of your aspiration so the scramble-y feeling has somewhere to go, and the one firm rule to hold in your head as you're moving through your morning. It sounds almost too simple. But if you regularly leave the house feeling behind before your day has even started, this episode is for you.

    142. We’re Back! & The Case for Reviewing Your Week Every Week

    06/07/2026 | 22 mins.
In this episode of The Bright Method Podcast, Kelly Nolan is back from the break and walks through the one line item she wants in your weekly planning session – the Clean Slate – and why reviewing last week packs a bigger punch than you'd expect. It sounds anticlimactic, almost boring, but this one line item is sneakily powerful, and its ripple effects go much further than it sounds. If you regularly end your week landing in the "I didn't do enough" story, this episode is for you.

    140. Stop Bargaining with Reality (And What to Do Instead)

    23/03/2026 | 21 mins.
Bargaining with reality just leads to frustration, wasted energy, and missed opportunities to do something about it. Let's dig into what it can actually look like to stop fighting the things you can't change (your memory, your energy at night, your partner's limitations) and start getting creative to work with the reality you have. The goal was never to be a different person – it's to build a life that works with who you already are.

    139. What you bring to the table is more than always being at the table

    16/03/2026 | 14 mins.
Responsiveness is something that has taken over American work culture. Between email, Teams/Slack, and more, there can be an assumption everyone is available at all times. But your value to your company is more than always being available – and is undercut by that approach.
Let's talk about how to shift into protecting time for strategic, heads-down work – and remain as responsive as we need to be.
