We’re living in a time where trust is getting harder to earn, technology is moving faster than ever, and the skills that built businesses in the past are rapidly changing.
In this episode of the RichHer Podcast, Sarah sits down with Caroline Warnes to talk about the shifting landscape of business — from the growing trust recession in the digital world, to how AI is reshaping the skills that will matter most in the years ahead.
As automation accelerates, one thing is becoming clear: human connection is becoming more valuable, not less.
Caroline shares why building genuine relationships, growing your network, and having the courage to start conversations with people you’ve never met before is one of the most underestimated skills when starting a business.
In this episode we explore:
What the trust recession means for business and influence
How AI is changing the future skills landscape
Why relationship-building will become even more valuable in an automated world
How entrepreneurs can create opportunities by reaching out and starting conversations
Why this often-overlooked sales skill can be a powerful accelerator when building a business
If you're building something of your own, growing a network, or looking for practical ways to create opportunities instead of waiting for them — this conversation will give you a powerful perspective on what skills really matter moving forward.
Because sometimes the opportunities you're waiting for don’t appear online.
About the Host – Sarah Coombes
Sarah Coombes is the host of the RichHer Podcast, where she has honest conversations about money, opportunity, and building wealth as a woman.
Her journey into wealth didn’t start with comfort or security. She moved countries and took a $60,000 pay cut. At one point Sarah had two weeks to find $110,000. While on maternity leave with two babies under two, her husband suffered a disabling back injury that wiped out their only source of income overnight. During that period, the family were living in a garages and moving 15 times in a year just to keep going.
Those experiences forced Sarah to become resourceful quickly — learning about money, property, and how to create multiple income streams so her family would never be weeks away from financial disaster again.
Today Sarah is a mum of three, educator, property investor, and entrepreneur who shares practical lessons, real stories, and conversations with experts to help women build wealth, expand their opportunities, and create lives that feel rich in every sense of the word.
