    If you don’t know already, our holistic healing practice, Chris & Filly Functional Medicine are partnered with Free To Shine - a truly amazing child protection organisation in Cambodia that helps keep children in schools, and out of sex brothels. In today’s episode, we share a live FaceBook interview we did with Nicky Mih, Founder of Free To Shine, back when we originally partnered with this organisation. And we’re excited to share it on the podcast today, where Nicky tells us more about her mission to stop sex-trafficking. Nicky says: "I can’t live in a world where girls are being tortured with acid, electrocuted and raped and do nothing about it." And we absolutely agree! About Nicky Mih As an educator, coach, and adventurer, Nicky Mih is passionate about inspiring people to learn, achieve, and make a difference in the world. In 2009 Nicky spent a month volunteering with more than 200 girls rescued from sex slavery in Cambodia, an experience which profoundly challenged her and led to the creation of Free To Shine. Nicky leads a team of social workers and education officers who work with community leaders, police, schools and families to secure the safety of girls across rural Cambodia, and help them achieve their rights to access education, safe drinking water, enough food and adequate shelter.
