  • Season 4, Episode 8 - Hip Dysplasia and Mobility Aids
Join me, as I get to chat with Georgina, Clara, Maja, Emma, Laura, Billie, Betsy, Meg, and Claire, about hip dysplasia and mobility aids. This episode is pieced together from a few conversations to accommodate different time zones and allow as many people to join as possible. We spend time talking about the emotions that come up for us about using these aids, the influence of media, of social influence, actual and/or perceived judgement from the people we encounter day to day, experiences, and stories.  We talk about how we can empower ourselves and others to prevent and relieve symptoms, and how we hope that conversations like these can inspire and spread positive change. I’m so grateful for everyone’s time in putting this together. It was such a pleasure to have these discussions and meet more of you in this incredible community. Thank you. I welcome and encourage further discussion around this topic, so please comment, or contact me with any thoughts and feelings that come up.
