S2E7: Anna Taylor - Paralympic Cyclist

    12/05/2026 | 2h 24 mins.
LIVING THE LIFE THAT WAS MEANT FOR HER

Anna Taylor has been dealt cards in life that many people could never imagine. From a Cancer diagnosis in her teens, to Cauda Equina in her twenties. She spent her whole life finding solace in the competitive drive of sport and it has become a space, even on the hardest of days, where she chooses to return to.

At school she found competitive swimming, in her teens and twenties she put her soul into rowing - finding herself at a level alongside some of New Zealand's best (without having the opportunity to fully prove this). Now? She has an olympic medal... like she always dreamed of. Yet, this one is from the Paralympics, with so much emotion, life experience and dedication behind it. Anna says that Para sports and the Paralympics are the best because EVERY athlete has a story behind them, jump in this episode to hear the story behind ANNA.
