Meet Olly Starr (He/They)
Survivor. Writer
Olly is from Iowa and was sexually abused as a 6 year old by the son of his mother's boyfriend. That happened once. When he was 13, he was abused on multiple occasions by his ‘best friend’ who was a few years older. He did tell his father, who Olly felt remained neutral instead of fully supportive of him. This caused ongoing trauma for years, culminating in 37 admissions to a psych unit. Olly’s story is inspirational and therefore a must watch.

Meet Jay Sefton
Survivor. Mental Health Counsellor. Actor. Playwright.
Jay was chosen to play “Jesus” in the Passion Play by a priest in the catholic church. He was 13 years old.
He was so thrilled to be selected, as he always wanted to be an actor. What was to follow were years of sexual abuse from this priest which took place not only within the vestibule but also on camping and ski trips.

Marcus is a Survivor.
He was adopted at 3 years of age and was abused from the age of 7 years old spanning a 10 year period. His abusers were many and included both men and women. His marriage involved more abuse culminating in him being stabbed by his wife, but as men were not considered to be ‘victims’ of physical abuse at that time, he felt he could not lay charges. His story is inspiring and offers hope and support to all men who struggle to find their voices.

Meet Rebecca Rose
Healer. Survivor. Outdoor Enthusiast.
She was abused for the first seven years of her life by her godfather, her fathers best friend. He took her to a lot of events where the drug ketamine was used to keep her compliant and also block her memory. She was also sexually abused by both her mother and father, although she believes this happened independently of the other. Rebecca also talks about navy intelligence with links to the CIA and NASA being implicit in her abuse.
